My son was diagnosed with speech, behavior, and developmental delays. He later received an autism spectrum disorder and mild intellectual disability. He did not talk, feed himself, and had difficulties with textures. He began to isolate himself. Westside Regional Center sent us Ms. Lauren and it was like they sent us Mary Poppins. She was always fun, friendly, and professional. She helped him ask for what he wanted, respond to commands, tolerate textures, color, and much more. She was always honest and candid about our son's development. I would highly recommend her to any family with similar needs. She is the best.

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren to assess and work with my 10 week old son. She was so wonderful to work with and helped my son work towards reaching his developmental milestones. She is very knowledgeable and skilled working with babies and was able to also coach me in creative ways to help my son grow and develop. We are fortunate to have had her support!

Lauren always brings really fresh ideas to the table for problem solving. She also does a great job helping parents set goals and modify them when needed. It's clear Lauren is a both fearless and fun OT. I love her vibrant approach to activities that may not be the most fun for her patients.

Lauren Friedman worked with my 5 year old daughter, Luna, on sensory, vestibular and feeding issues. My daughter not only excelled during her course of treatment, but looked forward to working with Lauren and enjoyed each session. I truly appreciate how Lauren was able to engage with Luna and empower me as a parent with tools to help my child progress between sessions. No one else will take the time to understand your child and their specific needs as much as Ms. Friedman did. Everyone knows having a child with developmental barriers is never easy and the gentle approach that was used was exactly was our family needed. From the beginning to end the therapist worked with our child in a stress free manner and helped us learn skills to practice at home to continue the skill building exercises between sessions. I greatly value this experience and feel more connected with my child and empowered to assist with their development.
